Uber’s latest venture in Cape Town is all about exploring the beauty of Africa deep into the wild. Uber Safari has planned a limited edition journey for the discerning travelers which will run until the end of January, 2025. This service will give Uber users a unique opportunity to witness Africa’s Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalos, cheetahs, and rhinos, by simply booking a trip through the Uber app. Uber has partnered with South Africa’s Aquila Private Game Reserve to surprise fans with this once in a lifetime experience that brings the convenience of urban transport to an African safari. Experiences like these are designed for those travelers who tend to enjoy luxury travel mixed with a dash of wild nature.
Wildlife adventure at your fingertips
Uber Safari will be available to Cape Town residents who wish to explore one of Africa’s iconic game reserves from this October to January. Up to four guests will get to book a safari directly from the Uber app for a flat fee of $200. Once everyone makes a reservation, each of the travelers will be picked up by a specially branded Uber Safari cruiser in cape town and whisked away into the vast plains of Aquila, where the Big Five roam freely. This day trip will allow travelers to unwind in peace as they gaze at the natural beauty of the Western Cape.

This journey begins the moment each traveler steps inside the Uber Safari vehicle. Everyone will be welcomed with a lunch toast upon arrival at the reserve to set the mood for an exciting and laid back day.
